The small tight rondo is a simple rondo variation with 3 or 4 players playing keep away from a defender in a small space.
Create a small grid with 4 or 5 players and a ball.
Play starts with a 3v1 or 4v1 rondo keep away. When the defender wins the ball, they switch places on the outside with the player who lost it.
In general rondos are great to help players work on keeping possession of the ball and improve basic passing skills.
The difficulty of this exercise can be modified by limiting the number of touches players can take or changing the size of the grid.
